Yes, Descope is free to use forever for up to 7500 monthly active users for your app. You can use Descope to create authentication and user management for your blog, side-project, personal website, and more. 

If you have a B2B app, Descope is free to use for up to 50 tenants, or up to 5 tenants if you are using SAML SSO.

Yes, we support passwords. If you ask us, any passwordless method is better than passwords for both usability and end-user security. You can learn more about passwordless methods in this article.
